The President from Trinidad & Tobago attends the Memorial.
Le Président de la nation (George Maxwell Richards) assiste au Mémorial dans une Salle du Royaume locale à
Trinité et à Tobago.
The President of the nation (George Maxwell Richards) attends the Memorial at a local Kingdom Hall in
Trinidad & Tobago.
Tout le monde se demande bien, qui l'a invité et comment ?Everyone is wondering well, who invited him and how?
L'invitation a été faite par une soeur qui travaille pour un journal à mi‐temps, et à sa surprise non seulement
le président est présent mais aussi 15 autres personnes qui ont accompagnés le président, parmi eux étaient
sa femme, des gardes de sécurité et deux représentants des stations de télévision de l'état.
The invitation was made by a sister who works for the newspaper part‐time, and for her surprise not only did
the president attend but also 15 others who accompanied the president, among them were his wife, security
guards & two representatives from television stations from the state.
C'était la première fois dans l'histoire de Trinité et Tobago que le président de la nation assistait à une
réunion des Témoins de Jéhovah.
It was the first time in Trinidad & Tobago history that a president of the nation attended a meeting of Jehovah's
Witnesses.
Comme exposé dans la loi, les frères ont suivi le protocole, observé par le président, sa femme, les gardes du
corps et trois d'autres personnes attentives pendant tout le programme, alors que le reste de l'équipe est
resté dans les automobiles.
As stated in the law, the brothers followed the protocol, as observed the president, his wife, body guard &
three others were attentive throughout the program, while the rest of the crew remained in the automobiles.
Il est arrivé que le frère qui a donné le discours pour le mémorial fût un des professeurs de l’école de
formation ministérielle aux Etats‐Unis.
It happened to be that the brother who gave the discourse for the memorial was one of the MS Training School
Instructors from the US.
Dans une congrégation où il y a 85 proclamateurs, la présence pour le mémorial était aux alentours de 300
personnes.
In a congregation where there are 85 publishers, the attendance for the memorial was around 300 persons.
Puisque nous donnons à tous ceux qui sont invités un recueil de cantiques et une Bible pour suivre le
programme du mémorial, le président et ses accompagnateurs n'étaient pas une exception.
Since we give all are invitees a songbook & a Bible in order to follow the program of the memorial, the
president and his party were not the exception.
Ils ont suivi le discours en entier utilisant leurs Bibles et chantant les Mélodies du Royaume.They followed the entire discourse using their Bibles and singing the Kingdom Melodies
